Construction is underway on the Fort Bragg Intrepid Spirit Center in Fayetteville.  The new center is the second for North Carolina; the first opened late last year at Camp Lejeune.  The Fayetteville location will have 25,000 square feet, with 50-60 staff providing interdisciplinary care to as many as 1400 soldiers diagnosed with traumatic brain injury or post-traumatic stress disorder.  Services will include behavioral health, neurology, pain management, and physical therapy.  The program will work closely with the Womack Medical Center, and it is expected that having these additional resources in close proximity will allow Womack to host a new intensive outpatient program.
