On February 9-10, the Task Force for Ending Veteran Homelessness in North Carolina, a committee of the Governor’s Working Group on Veterans and Their Families, and the NC Department of Military and Veterans Affairs conducted the Rapid Results Veteran Boot Camp. Funded by the NC Department of Health and Human Services, the teams were equipped through the engagement of Rapid Results Institute to return to their counties with a 100 Day program focusing on specific goals of housing homeless veterans, engaging community support, and removing barriers to housing. The following six teams participated:

  • Pender/New Hanover/Brunswick counties
  • Onslow County
  • Cleveland/Lincoln/Gaston counties
  • Wake/Durham/Orange counties
  • Rowan County
  • Buncombe County
