Hosted by the Hospice & Palliative CareCenter and Rowan Hospice & Palliative Care, Spirit of ’45 will honor World War II Veterans. This event is free for WWII Veterans and one guest (and $45 for others). Check-in begins at 3:00 pm, with a group photo at 4:00 and dinner to follow. Pre-screening of the movie, Thank You for your Service The movie follows four military members and the challenges they confronted when they returned home from deployment.  Screening is followed by a reception with the producer Matt Tyson, a Veteran in the film and representatives from the Red Cross and healthcare providers.
